Get ready for WANGAN MIDNIGHT MAXIMUM TUNE: Japan’s Fastest Championship 2024 as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune! Join us for this inaugural international driving tournament, where you can compete against the best racers.

Enter this competition by pre-registering at a participating Timezone venue and zoom your way to victory to the next round! The top 2 winners per venue will head to Regional Tournaments and then the top 2 winners from the Philippines will win an exclusive trip to Japan to compete against the best racers from Asia-Pacific!

HOW TO JOIN 🏎️🏁

1. Own a Timezone Powercard and Bandai Namco Passport. 

2. Visit a participating Timezone venue during the registration period, 10:00AM (PHT) on September 27, 2024, to 9:00PM (PHT) on October 4, 2024. Registration will be processed strictly on a first-come, first served basis. 

3. Two (2) winners from each Timezone venue will be selected for the Regional Tournaments on Sunday, 12 October 2024. 

4. The tournament is open to players 18 years old and above.

TOURNAMENT RULES 📋📣

  • Entries should only be accepted on location on the day of the tournament. Each location will generally be allotted an allowance of a minimum of 16 contestants and a maximum of 32. Participation is based on a first-come-first-serve basis. Note: Certain locations may be allowed less than 16 contestants if a request is made in advance of the tournament.

  • Contestants who do not have a Bana Passport will be unable to participate. Players agreed to register their Bana Passport, and the car they are going to use during the tournament, changing their Bana Passport and car during the event is not allowed.

  • The horsepower in each course during the tournament will be set, with no exceptions.

  • Contestants can’t enter multiple preliminary contests at different locations. However, contestants who have won the right to advance to the Regional Tournament may not participate again at another location. If it is discovered that a contestant attempted multiple entries to the regional tournaments, they will be disqualified.

  • Entrants must play the game themselves. They may not have a stand-in play for them. If a player is discovered to be representing another contestant, both players will be disqualified. If a contestant does not make it to check-in for their Preliminary Tournament by the starting time, they are considered to have lost by default.

  • Players agreed not to have any vulgarities, fighting, or any acts causing damage and injury during the event and the staff has the right to disqualify players found doing such acts. All participants are agreed to comply with the safety requirements, rules, and regulations set by the event committee.

  • Registration must be duly completed and submitted to the center staff for verification. The decision from the organizer on the outcome of this competition is final.

What is the format of the tournament?

Participants will be divided into groups of four or three to compete. This grouping will be determined by our venue team. The winner from each group will advance to compete again in groups of four until a champion is determined from each venue. The champions from each venue will then come together on a different day for the regional tournament, competing in the same format. The top two winners from the regional tournament will win an exciting trip to Japan!

What track will be used during the tournament?

The only race track to be used during the whole tournament is the C1 (Closed). Event Mode needs to be selected as Single option, we are not using 2ON2. Additionally, to turn off the Horsepower Assist, all players must press the break after selecting the track, as is set on automatically.

Is there an age limit to participate in the tournament?

The tournament is open to players 18 years old and above.  

How many participants can compete in the tournament at each venue?

Each venue can accommodate a maximum of 32 participants. This ensures that everyone has a fair chance to compete and enjoy the experience.

What happens if I can't make it on the tournament day?

If you are unable to attend the tournament on the scheduled date, you will be disqualified from the event. It is important to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time to register.  

Will there be any age categories or divisions in the tournament?

No, there will not be any age categories or divisions in the tournament. All participants will compete together on a track that will be announced on tournament day. 

Will there be teams in the tournament?

No, the tournament is an individual competition. Each participant will compete on their own, showcasing their skills against other players.

Will there be prizes for the winners?

Yes! Prizes will be awarded to the top performers in the tournament, including a trip to Japan for the top two winners from the regional tournament. 

What safety measures are in place during the tournament?

We prioritize the safety of all participants. Our venues follow strict safety protocols. Participants must also follow all instructions from our venue team. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. We do not tolerate any unruly behavior, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Will airfare and accommodations be provided to VISMIN preliminary winners?

Yes, Timezone Philippines will provide airfare and accommodations for the preliminary winners of Timezone Ayala Center Cebu and Timezone Abreeza Mall Davao only.
