Established in 1978, the first Timezone Family Entertainment Centre opened in Perth, Western Australia. Unlike the traditional pinball parlors and pool halls of the era, Timezone was the first family oriented video amusement facility.
Today, Timezone continues to create shared experiences that connect friends, families and communities, delivering the same sense of fun, discovery and friendly competition that has kept guests coming back for generations.
Following its success in Australia, Timezone went international in 1995. Today, Timezone has established a strong foothold in more than 200 locations, operating in Australia, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.

Timezone uses the ‘Powercard’ card which replaces traditional coins and tokens with a sophisticated but simple card which enables you to monitor how much you are spending and us to give you great offers! Instead of carrying round pockets full of coins your credit is loaded onto a Powercard. In order to play a machine simply swipe your Powercard at the coloured swiper mounted on the machine and the credit will be deducted from the card automatically.
